Inktober is an annual event that takes place every October, originally created by artist Jake Parker in 2009. The concept is simple: artists, both amateur and professional, are challenged to create a drawing every day throughout the month of October, using ink as their primary medium. The purpose of Inktober is to encourage artists to improve their drawing skills, develop good drawing habits, and share their work with others through social media using the hashtag #Inktober.
